Clinics and Concerts
Drozdoff is available to perform as a soloist and give clinics for both classical and jazz based trumpet solo work. On the continental 48 states, a flat rate of $850 is the fee. This covers room, board and transportation as well as the fee for an 8 hour work day. The fee for the rest of the US and territories is $1000 for the same day. Multiple day clinics simply multiply the flat rate. Overseas engagements must be negotiated from scratch due the the expense of travel.

While the flat rate is quite strictly adhered to, the fees can be negotiated based on a need basis. Each individual case can and will be considered and balanced against availability. Also, if more than one institution in the area can book a second or third clinic, masterclass and or performance, the transportation costs can be distributed, thus reducing the expense to any one school in the system. Finally, for clinics and concerts local to the Chicago area, we can negotiate a lower fee since room and board are taken from the mix.

NEW! Performing as Guest Soloist with Community Jazz Bands, Orchestras, Concert Bands, Brass Bands and Drum & Bugle Corps!

Drozdoff is now performing with community organizations as guest soloist. These performances don’t include any clinic or lecture component. Rehearsals, if needed, are usually done right before the performance or as a sound check.

These organizations are usually non-profit and often don’t charge for their performances. While the general rates serve as a model, these rates can be negotiated more flexibly if your concert falls into this category. Finally, if the performance is with 50 miles of the loop area of Chicago, the rates be be further reduced as transportation costs are minimal.

Other Musical Offerings
Currently, Drozdoff writing jazz for small groups with no more than three horns. He is also working with Dr. Michael Stewart who arranging his small group charts for big band with trumpet solo.

Musical Services:

Sideman
Drozdoff is available as a sideman for both live performances and recording. Travel is not a problem, depending on mutual availability, distance, timing and funding. Recording can be done either onsite or remotely.

Remote Recording
Drozdoff owns his own Sonar/Cakewalk/PC based recording studio with drums in a booth and both acoustic and electronic piano/keyboards. If you wat to add Drozdoff’s trumpet work to your own recordings, but it isn’t practical to bring him to your studio, the recording process can be done remotely via several file sharing mechanisms. Consult with Drozdoff to work out the details and fees, as these will all be different depending on the project.

Private Instruction on Trumpet
Drozdoff does accept private students. His rates are $75 per hour, with a one hour minimum for each lesson. While he is willing to take students on a weekly basis, it is compleltey acceptable to work this out as a periodic coacing event. Also, keep an eye on the online lessons page. As the dertails of the video file sharing systems get worked out, private lessons with Drozdoff can be arranged with students from around the world!
