This is my long tone  (8-8-16) warm up plaus my range building (Singing Exercise). I learned these from Niel Dunlap, one of the most important trumpet teachers in my life. This is a CD of music composed and or arranged by trumpeter Nick Drozdoff. Drozdoff leads his band of Chicago area jazz luminaries as the trumpet soloist.

This is Nick Drozdoff's first major overdub CD. It consists of classical to modern brass ensemble works all performed by Nick Drozdoff in his studio. He plays everything from piccolo trumpet down to tguba. Most of the instruments are all junkers purchased in antique and junk shops across the midwest for an average price of $30.

This a PDF file of the big band/solo trumpet arrangement of As A Gnome Ran. This would be a medium difficulty chart, playable by most good high school big bands and all college big bands. The solo part is tricky and goes to an f concert over high C. However, that note can be taken down an octave, if desired, with no serious impact on the music.

 As mentioned this $25 dollar copy is avaiable as a PDF file. If you would like a snail mail hard copy sent to you, order that version.

This is a hard copy version of the big band solo trumpet arrangment of As A Gnome Ran. This is a medium level difficulty chart easily playable by most high school big bands and all college big bands. The difficulty resides largely in the sooo trumpet part which has a lot of be-bop like motion and a couple of high G's.
